Bukit Sembawang - 20 Oct 2026

Bukit Sembawang Estates (SGX: B61) — Technical Analysis

Bearish–Neutral

Daily chart | December 2025 – 19 October 2026

Chart price

S$4.34

Near-term support

4.28–4.30

Key resistance

4.44–4.45

Market regime: Primary downtrend transitioning into a narrow consolidation.

The major sell-off in early August established bearish control. Since September, price has stabilized between approximately S$4.28 and S$4.45, but buyers have not demonstrated sufficient strength to reverse the broader downtrend.

The consolidation is potentially constructive because downward momentum has slowed. However, a reduction in selling pressure is not the same as confirmed accumulation.

1. Market structure and significant price action

Period

Price behaviour

Interpretation

Jan–Feb

Rally to 5.24–5.25 followed by lower highs

Major advance exhausted; supply emerged

Mar–Apr

Sharp decline toward 4.46–4.51

Bearish structural shift, strong downward momentum

May–Jul

Recovery to 4.97, later 5.10, without a sustained advance

Repeated attempts to establish an uptrend failed

Early Aug

Large bearish displacement below 4.70, followed by continuation

Decisive breakdown; former support became overhead supply

Late Aug–Sep

Decline to 4.28, rebound to 4.45

Selling pressure slowed; first meaningful stabilization

Sep–Oct

Repeated fluctuations between 4.30 and 4.44

Consolidation, but no confirmed bullish reversal

Three important structural observations

1. August produced the decisive bearish break of structure.

The sharp decline from approximately S$4.84–4.94 through S$4.70 and toward S$4.50 featured wide bearish candles and elevated volume. Subsequent bars continued lower, confirming that this was not merely an isolated stop-running event.

The previous support at S$4.69–4.70 was decisively lost.

2. The decline began losing momentum around S$4.28.

After the initial August sell-off, prices continued falling but with smaller daily ranges and less consistent bearish displacement. The late-August low of S$4.28 was followed by a rebound toward S$4.45.

This suggests sellers were losing their ability to force continued downward progress. It does not establish whether the change resulted from active buying or simply reduced selling.

3. September–October has not produced a bullish change of character.

The rally to S$4.45 was followed by another decline to S$4.30. The subsequent recovery reached only approximately S$4.44.

This sequence shows buyers defending the lower boundary but failing repeatedly to overcome the upper boundary. The first improvement would be a sustained move above S$4.45. A more convincing reversal requires a successful retest and a higher swing low.

2. Volume–price analysis

Early August — Supply dominance

Large bearish candles coincided with visibly elevated trading activity. Selling effort produced substantial downward progress, and subsequent sessions confirmed continuation.

This is the strongest bearish evidence on the chart.

Bearish

Late August — Selling momentum deceleration

Downward price progress contracted as the decline approached S$4.28. The subsequent recovery indicates that selling pressure was no longer producing the same results.

Possible stopping action, but not a conclusively established selling climax.

Mixed

September–October — Reduced activity

Volume generally contracted while candles became narrower and increasingly overlapping.

This is consistent with a temporary balance between demand and supply. It could precede accumulation or renewed markdown; direction remains unconfirmed.

Neutral

The important question is whether renewed volume creates sustained upward price progress or merely another unsuccessful rally toward S$4.44–4.45.

3. Wyckoff interpretation

The current structure is best classified as a trading range following markdown, rather than confirmed accumulation.

There are three competing interpretations:

  • Potential accumulation: Buyers are absorbing available supply around S$4.28–4.35, gradually preventing new lows.

  • Redistribution: Sellers are temporarily inactive while prices consolidate, before another decline.

  • Ordinary equilibrium: Neither side currently has enough directional conviction to establish a sustainable trend.

There is no convincing spring below S$4.28 followed by recovery, nor a confirmed Sign of Strength above S$4.45. Therefore, assigning an advanced Wyckoff accumulation phase would be premature.

The nearby tests at S$4.30 and rallies toward S$4.44 are the most informative future reference points.

4. Key support and resistance

Price zone (SGD)

Significance

4.84–4.94

Major overhead supply from July and the failed recovery

4.69–4.70

Former support; intermediate resistance

4.44–4.45

Immediate breakout threshold, tested repeatedly

4.38–4.40

Short-term pivot within the range

4.30–4.35

Local demand area; October lows

4.28

Critical trading-range floor

4.10–4.20

Lower historical reference zone, relevant after a sustained breakdown

The range's midpoint is approximately S$4.365. At S$4.34, the stock is trading in the lower half of its recent consolidation, not at a confirmed breakout point.

5. Forward scenarios

Bullish — Breakout and successful retest

A daily close above S$4.45, followed by sustained trading above the breakout area, preferably with expanding volume, would indicate buyers overcoming recent supply.

Initial upside objectives are S$4.55–4.60 and subsequently S$4.69–4.70. A return below S$4.38 after the breakout would weaken the setup.

Conditional

Bearish — Breakdown below range support

A decisive close below S$4.28, followed by unsuccessful attempts to reclaim it, would signal renewed selling control.

S$4.20 becomes the initial downside reference, followed by S$4.10. A quick recovery above S$4.35 would undermine the breakdown.

Risk

Neutral — Continued consolidation

Repeated reversals around S$4.30–4.45, with low volume and overlapping candles, would preserve the current trading range.

This is the immediate working scenario until a boundary is convincingly resolved.

Current

6. Risk–reward evaluation

Illustrative long setups, excluding transaction costs and slippage:

4.32

4.26

4.44

2.0:1

Confirmed breakout

4.46

4.37

4.69

2.6:1

The support-reversal entry requires evidence of rejection and renewed buying, not simply a touch of S$4.32. The breakout entry requires confirmation above S$4.45, ideally followed by a successful retest. Stops are illustrative structural placements, not guarantees against larger losses or opening gaps.

7. Technical conclusion

Directional bias: Neutral in the short term, bearish in the intermediate term.

The most important development is that the August decline has stopped accelerating. However, the September–October range has not yet demonstrated a convincing transfer of control from sellers to buyers.

My preferred approach is to wait for stronger evidence rather than anticipate a reversal inside the range.

  • Above S$4.45: Bullish reversal becomes more credible, subject to follow-through.

  • Between S$4.30 and S$4.45: Consolidation remains intact.

  • Below S$4.28: Bearish continuation risk increases materially.

Bottom line: Bukit Sembawang is showing possible base-building behaviour, but the evidence remains insufficient to declare accumulation or the beginning of a new uptrend. The next sustained move outside S$4.28–4.45 is likely to provide much better directional information.

Bukit Sembawang - 24 April 2026

Bukit Sembawang Estates Limited — B61 / SGX

Timeframe: Daily chart
Last shown price: S$4.77
Current market regime: Post-breakdown recovery inside a corrective range

1. Market Structure & Order Flow

Macro Structure

The chart shows three clear phases:

Phase 1 — Base / Accumulation Zone

  • From roughly S$4.08–S$4.30, price traded in a tight, low-volatility base.
  • Volume was generally subdued, suggesting limited retail excitement and possible quiet accumulation.
  • Key base support: S$4.08–S$4.15
  • Key base resistance: S$4.25–S$4.30

Phase 2 — Institutional Displacement

  • The strong December breakout from around S$4.20 into S$4.85–S$4.93 came with clear volume expansion.
  • This was the most obvious institutional footprint on the chart: wide-range bullish candles, rising volume, minimal retracement.
  • The move created a prior demand / order-flow zone around S$4.66–S$4.76.

Phase 3 — Distribution / Breakdown / Recovery

  • Price peaked around S$5.24–S$5.25, then failed to continue higher.
  • The lower high near S$5.13 followed by weakness through S$5.00 and S$4.95 marked a bearish change of character.
  • The March selloff broke the prior support shelf and drove price toward S$4.46–S$4.51.
  • Since then, price has recovered but remains below the major prior breakdown zone.

2. Swing Highs, Swing Lows, BOS & CHoCH

Important Swing Highs

  • S$4.93 — first major post-breakout high
  • S$5.24 / S$5.25 — major structural high
  • S$5.13 — lower high after distribution
  • S$4.80–S$4.85 area — current recovery resistance zone

Important Swing Lows

  • S$4.08–S$4.10 — accumulation base low
  • S$4.76 — first higher-low attempt after breakout
  • S$5.00 / S$4.95 — failed support zone
  • S$4.46 — March capitulation low
  • S$4.51 — higher low after the recovery attempt

Structure Reading

  • The move above S$4.93 was a bullish break of structure.
  • Failure below S$5.00 shifted the chart from bullish trend into corrective distribution.
  • The break into S$4.46 confirmed bearish structure.
  • Current price action is attempting a recovery, but it has not yet reclaimed the key resistance band around S$4.85–S$4.93.

3. Volume-Price Relationship

Institutional Footprints

The strongest institutional activity appears in two places:

December breakout

  • Wide bullish bars with volume expansion.
  • This suggests professional participation rather than a weak retail breakout.

January surge near S$5.20

  • Heavy volume near the highs followed by failure to extend.
  • This may represent supply absorption or distribution, especially because price later lost S$5.00.

March selloff

  • The sharp drop into the S$4.46–S$4.51 zone had expanded volume.
  • This can represent forced selling, stop-loss triggering, or a liquidity flush.
  • The subsequent recovery suggests some demand appeared near the lows, but the rebound has not yet proven dominant control.

Current Volume

  • Recent recovery volume appears moderate, not explosive.
  • That means the rebound is constructive but not yet fully confirmed by institutional accumulation.
  • A decisive close above S$4.85 with higher volume would improve the bullish case.

4. Retail Trap / Liquidity Behavior

Possible Bull Trap

The push to S$5.24–S$5.25 followed by failure below S$5.13 and S$5.00 looks like a potential distribution trap:

  • Retail traders may have chased the breakout above S$5.00.
  • Price failed to hold above the psychological level.
  • The breakdown likely trapped late buyers.

Possible Bear Trap

The selloff into S$4.46 may also have flushed weak holders:

  • Price broke sharply lower.
  • Follow-through selling weakened.
  • Price then recovered toward S$4.66–S$4.80.

This creates a two-sided structure: the market has trapped both late bulls near the highs and late bears near the lows.

5. Key Supply & Demand Zones

Demand Zones

S$4.46–S$4.51

  • Major recent low zone.
  • Buyers defended this area after the March breakdown.

S$4.60–S$4.66

  • Short-term support shelf.
  • Prior consolidation and recovery pivot.

S$4.30–S$4.40

  • Deeper structural support if the current recovery fails.
  • This area links back toward the pre-breakout structure.

Supply Zones

S$4.80–S$4.85

  • Immediate resistance.
  • Current price is struggling below this zone.

S$4.93–S$5.00

  • Major prior breakdown area.
  • This is the most important resistance band on the chart.

S$5.13–S$5.25

  • Upper distribution zone.
  • Price would need strong volume confirmation to challenge this area again.

6. Bar-by-Bar Reading of the Recent Action

Recent candles show:

  • Recovery from S$4.46 into S$4.80.
  • Multiple overlapping candles near current resistance.
  • A recent rejection wick down toward S$4.60, followed by recovery.
  • Current candle closing near S$4.77, slightly weak on the day.

This is not yet a clean bullish continuation pattern. It is better classified as a recovery range below resistance.

For bullish confirmation, price needs:

  • Daily close above S$4.85
  • Volume expansion
  • Follow-through toward S$4.93–S$5.00

For bearish confirmation, price needs:

  • Failure at S$4.80–S$4.85
  • Close back below S$4.66
  • Retest of S$4.51–S$4.46

7. Psychological Levels

S$5.00

This is the most important psychological level on the chart.

  • It previously acted as support.
  • Once broken, it became overhead supply.
  • A reclaim of S$5.00 would materially improve structure.

S$4.50

This is the key downside psychological level.

  • Price reacted strongly near S$4.46–S$4.51.
  • A break below S$4.46 would signal renewed weakness.

8. Scenario Planning

Bullish Scenario

Price holds above S$4.66, breaks S$4.85, and moves toward S$4.93–S$5.00.

Bullish confirmation level: S$4.85
First upside target: S$4.93
Second upside target: S$5.00
Extended target: S$5.13

This would suggest the March selloff was a liquidity flush and the recovery is gaining acceptance.

Bearish Scenario

Price rejects the S$4.80–S$4.85 supply zone and closes below S$4.66.

Bearish trigger level: below S$4.66
First downside target: S$4.51
Second downside target: S$4.46
Deeper downside level: S$4.30–S$4.40

This would suggest the rebound is only a corrective rally within a broader distribution phase.

Neutral Scenario

Price remains between S$4.66 and S$4.85.

This would indicate balance, indecision, and a lack of institutional directional commitment.

9. Risk-Adjusted Setup Framework

Long Bias Setup

Only becomes cleaner above S$4.85.

  • Possible entry zone: above S$4.85 after confirmed daily close
  • Stop reference: below S$4.66 or tighter below S$4.60
  • Target zone: S$5.00–S$5.13
  • Approximate risk-reward: around 1:1.5 to 1:2, depending on entry quality

Short / Avoidance Bias

Weakness increases if price fails below S$4.66.

  • Bearish confirmation: daily close below S$4.66
  • Stop reference: above S$4.80–S$4.85
  • Target zone: S$4.51–S$4.46
  • Approximate risk-reward: potentially 1:1.5 to 1:2

At current price, the chart is not in the cleanest execution zone. It is sitting between support and resistance, so confirmation matters.

Highest-Conviction Observations

  1. S$4.85–S$5.00 is the key overhead supply zone.
  2. S$4.46–S$4.51 is the major defended demand zone.
  3. The move from S$4.20 to S$5.25 was institutional-looking, but the failure below S$5.00 damaged the bullish structure.
  4. Current price is recovering, but volume does not yet show decisive institutional re-accumulation.
  5. The chart is neutral-to-slightly constructive above S$4.66, but bullish confirmation requires a breakout above S$4.85.

Key Levels to Watch

Resistance: S$4.85, S$4.93, S$5.00, S$5.13, S$5.25
Support: S$4.66, S$4.60, S$4.51, S$4.46, S$4.30
Bullish trigger: Daily close above S$4.85
Bearish trigger: Daily close below S$4.66
Major invalidation for recovery: Break below S$4.46

Confidence Rating

Confidence: 6.5 / 10

The structure is readable, but current price is in the middle of a contested recovery zone. The next decisive move likely depends on whether price can reclaim S$4.85–S$5.00 or loses S$4.66.

Execution Checklist

Before acting, confirm:

  • Daily close above resistance or below support
  • Volume expansion in direction of breakout
  • No immediate rejection wick at the trigger level
  • Risk-reward is at least 1:2
  • Stop is placed beyond structure, not at an obvious liquidity level
  • Position size reflects the distance to structural stop

Buying B61 because price is attempting to recover from the S$4.46–S$4.51 demand zone, with stops at S$4.60 or below S$4.46 targeting S$4.93–S$5.00 for roughly a 1:1.5 to 1:2 risk-reward ratio.

Stock: Bukit Sembawang Estates Limited (SGX: B61)
Timeframe: Daily (1D)
Date Range: February 2025 – October 2025 (~180 bars)
Last Traded Price: SGD 4.16
Analysis Type: Institutional-grade, pure price–volume methodology

1. Market Structure & Order Flow Analysis

Trend Structure:

  • Primary Structure: Uptrend from March low (3.19) → July high (4.47).

  • Recent Structure: Sideways/ranging between 4.00 – 4.47 since August.

  • Swing Points:

    • HL sequence: 3.19 → 3.86 → 4.00 → 4.15

    • HH sequence: 4.04 → 4.26 → 4.30 → 4.47

  • Current Market Regime: Transitioning from trending to range-bound.

  • BOS / CHoCH: Minor CHoCH noted after failing to break 4.47 in August, shifting from bullish momentum to distribution phase.

Momentum Observation:

  • Bar overlap increasing post-August.

  • Range compression and equal highs near 4.30–4.47 → loss of upward thrust.

2. Volume–Price Relationship (VPR)

Volume Signature:

  • June–July: Strong volume on wide bars = institutional markup.

  • August–October: Mixed, with spikes on down bars → possible distribution.

  • Current Volume: Declining — suggests no aggressive buyers defending 4.00–4.20 zone.

Interpretation:

  • Absorption near 4.00: High volume with limited downside progress → potential demand defense.

  • Exhaustion at 4.47: Wide range up-bar followed by selling pressure confirms buying climax (BC).

  • Volume Divergence: Lower highs in volume as price retested 4.30–4.47 → momentum decay.

3. Institutional Footprints

  • Liquidity Grab: July spike above 4.40 trapped late buyers → sharp reversal → smart money distribution.

  • Order Blocks: 4.00–4.10 bullish OB formed (last down-bar before rally); now re-tested several times.

  • Fair Value Gap (FVG): 3.85–3.95 gap from early June → likely future magnet.

  • Displacement: Strong bullish displacement leg May–June → currently being balanced by range rotation.

4. Bar Pattern Recognition

  • Reversal Bars:

    • Multiple long upper-wick rejections near 4.45 → supply zone confirmation.

    • Supportive long-tail candles near 4.00 → demand still active.

  • Continuation Bars:

    • Inside bar compression between 4.10–4.30 → volatility contraction phase.

  • Indecision Bars:

    • Repeated spinning tops → neutral order flow awaiting breakout catalyst.

5. Multi-Timeframe Confluence

  • Weekly Bias: Still higher highs and higher lows → macro bullish.

  • Daily Bias: Neutral–range with equal highs (4.47) and equal lows (4.00).

  • High-probability Zone: 4.00–4.10 accumulation area aligned across daily & weekly.

6. Psychological & Structural Levels

Key LevelTypeObservation
4.47Range High / SupplySelling tails, failed break
4.30Mid-range pivotPrior support turned resistance
4.00Demand floorStrong defense, multi-touch
3.85FVG targetPotential liquidity pool

7. Risk-Adjusted Setup Identification

Potential Setup:

  • Scenario A – Bullish Reclaim: If price closes > 4.26 with expanding volume, breakout confirmation toward 4.47/4.55.

  • Scenario B – Breakdown: Close < 4.00 with high volume → distribution completion → target 3.85 then 3.65.

Risk Zones:

  • Stop-loss placement: Just below 3.95 for long bias; above 4.30 for shorts.

  • Ideal RR: Minimum 1:3 (4.00→4.47 or 4.26→3.85).

8. Market Regime Classification

Current Regime: Ranging Transition

  • Evidence: Equal highs/lows, declining volume, alternating wide/narrow bars.

9. Institutional Supply/Demand Dynamics

  • Supply Dominance: Above 4.30 – absorptive sell volume.

  • Demand Presence: 4.00 zone – absorption with decreasing downward extension.

  • Effort vs Result: High effort on down-bars but limited downside progress → still some institutional demand.

10. Comprehensive Market Context

  • Sector: Singapore property developers under consolidation amid rate-stabilization phase.

  • Relative Strength: Neutral vs. STI index; lacks leadership.

  • Volatility Regime: ATR compression since August → coiled setup likely to resolve soon.

🎯 Summary Outlook

Market Bias: Neutral-to-slightly-bullish within range.
Key Focus: Watch for breakout confirmation either above 4.26 (buy pressure) or below 4.00 (distribution).
Current Institutional Behavior: Range absorption and inventory re-accumulation; no aggressive distribution yet.

🧭 Trade Summary

[Buying] Bukit Sembawang (SGX:B61) because price is consolidating above key demand at 4.00 with absorption signs and low-volume pullbacks, with stops at 3.95, targeting 4.47 for a 1:3 risk–reward setup.
Confidence: 7 / 10
Key Levels to Watch: 4.00 (support), 4.26 (breakout trigger), 4.47 (resistance).

  • Major Swing Highs (SH): 3.68 → 3.67 → 3.63 → 4.04

  • Major Swing Lows (SL): 3.51 → 3.51 → 3.19 → 3.86

    • Second BOS above 4.04 earlier this month (June).

  • Change of Character (CHoCH):

    • Clear CHoCH on the rally from 3.19 (early May). Marked shift from range-bound behavior to trending behavior.

  • Trend Condition:

    • Currently making higher highs and higher lows.

    • No significant lower low formation since 3.19 base.

2. Volume-Price Relationship (VPR) Analysis:

  • Volume Dry-Up:

    • Seen in April just before the explosive move from 3.19 upward, signaling pre-breakout absorption.

  • Volume Expansion:

    • Heavy volume breakout bar in early May breaking through the 3.63 and 3.67 resistance zones decisively.

  • Recent Volume Behavior:

    • The June move from 3.86 to 4.04 showed moderate volume on the breakout, but lack of strong follow-through volume, suggesting caution for chase entries.

  • Volume Divergence:

    • Latest push above 4.00 lacked proportional volume expansion compared to the May breakout move, indicating possible buyer exhaustion or pause before continuation.

3. Institutional Footprint Recognition:

  • Liquidity Grab / Shakeout:

    • Large downside flush below 3.19 in April followed by immediate reversal and high volume rally—textbook spring action, likely stop-loss run to fuel larger move.

  • Order Block:

    • Demand zone identifiable between 3.19 and 3.50 based on April reversal with strong volume reaction.

  • Displacement Move:

    • Strong directional rally from 3.19 to 4.04 (approx. 25% move in 6 weeks), showing institutional directional commitment.

  • FVG (Fair Value Gap):

    • Gap exists from 3.70–3.80 due to the aggressive May breakout. This area remains untested and may attract future price revisit.

4. Bar Pattern Recognition:

  • Continuation Signals:

    • Multiple bullish continuation bars with controlled pullbacks, shallow retracements post-May breakout.

  • Reversal Signals:

    • No bearish engulfing or strong reversal candles observed after pullback to 3.86, suggesting bulls still in control.

  • Recent Bar Analysis:

    • Current bar (June 30) shows bullish close above 4.00 with higher low relative to 3.86—suggesting breakout retest success.

5. Multi-Timeframe Confluence:

  • Higher Timeframe (Weekly Chart Bias - Not Shown but inferred):

    • Weekly structure likely in uptrend given sustained rally above 3.70 resistance level with strong weekly closes in May and June.

  • Lower Timeframe (Intraday 1H/4H Bias - Not Shown):

    • Likely showing coiled bullish consolidation under 4.04 resistance pre-breakout.

Additional Contextual Factors:

Psychological Levels:

  • Round Number Magnet: 4.00 acting as psychological pivot level.

  • Next Psychological Target: 4.20, followed by 4.50.

ATR Check (Approximation):

  • Recent daily range ~0.08–0.10 SGD, suggesting next target zones for extension should allow for ~0.20–0.30 range progression over coming sessions.

Company Catalysts (Past 90 Days):

  • No confirmed major news spikes visible in charted period.

  • The rally from 3.19 appears technically driven with potential accumulation signs, but external catalyst research advised for confirmation.

Key Price Levels & Risk Management Parameters:

Next Bullish Target4.20–4.25Psychological & measured move
Major Support3.70–3.75FVG gap zone + May breakout base

Forward-Looking Bias:

Bullish Bias continuation with primary focus on bullish continuation above 4.04. Expecting breakout above 4.04 with next targets towards 4.20 and 4.25, contingent on volume confirmation. Failure below 3.86 would neutralize short-term bullish thesis.

Bukit Sembawang - 29 Apr 25

Bukit Sembawang (SGX: B61) – Daily Chart as of April 29, 2025

1. Trend Analysis

  • Overall Structure: The chart shows a range-bound market from late 2024 to April 2025, fluctuating between approximately SGD 3.50 and SGD 3.68, with temporary expansions to 3.88 (high) and 3.22 (low).

  • Recent Trend:

    • Mid-April to April 29, 2025: A short-term rebound from a steep sell-off (3.63 → ~3.30) has taken price back to SGD 3.50.

    • No clear higher high or lower low was established, suggesting indecision.

  • Trend Weakness Indicators:

    • Repeated touches at 3.51 and 3.62–3.68 suggest sideways pressure.

    • Bars often overlap, with many small-bodied candles.

2. Key Price Action Signals

  • Volume Spikes:

    • Late March & Mid-April: Large red bars with sharp volume spikes show strong selling (3.63 drop). Bars closed near the low → bearish conviction.

    • Mid-to-late April: Large bullish volume on green bars with closes near highs → bullish reaction to oversold conditions.

  • Reversal Signals:

    • April mid-month: Long lower wick pin bars after deep drop to ~3.30 → rejection of lower prices.

  • Inside Bars / Dojis:

    • Multiple inside bars in Jan–Feb suggest consolidation and indecision around 3.50–3.57.

  • Gap Bars:

    • A minor gap-down in April (after 3.63) leads to immediate bearish continuation, not reversal → bearish gap confirmation.

3. Support & Resistance

  • Support Zones:

    • SGD 3.50–3.51: Multiple bounces (Dec, Feb, Apr).

    • SGD 3.30: April's sharp reversal low.

  • Resistance Zones:

    • SGD 3.63–3.68: Recent swing highs and failed breakouts.

    • SGD 3.88: Major swing high from October 2024.

4. Breakout & Pullback Analysis

  • False Breakouts:

    • Several attempts to break 3.62–3.68 in Q1 2025 failed, often followed by pullbacks.

  • Recent Pullback:

    • The April rebound shows V-shaped recovery, no clear pullback structure.

  • Pullback Respecting Key Levels:

    • Price often respects the 3.50 level as both support and inflection point.

5. Market Context & Trading Bias

  • Current Bias: Neutral-to-bullish short-term, inside a larger sideways structure.

  • Transition Signals:

    • April's sell-off and recovery suggest increased volatility and possible range expansion.

  • Trader Psychology:

    • Fear evident in strong sell bars with volume (mid-April).

    • Greed/hope on rapid bounce (late-April).

    • Indecision around 3.50 shown by dojis and narrow bars.

6. Supply, Demand & Liquidity

  • Demand Zones:

    • SGD 3.30–3.35: Rapid buy-up after mid-April dip.

  • Supply Zones:

    • SGD 3.63–3.68: Sellers consistently appear on approach.

  • Liquidity Traps:

    • False break above 3.67 in March likely trapped breakout buyers.

7. Risk Management Strategy (Hypothetical for Study)

For Educational Use Only

  • Entry Idea: Pullback to SGD 3.45–3.48 if bullish continuation is expected.

  • Stop-Loss: Below recent low ~SGD 3.30.

  • Take-Profit Zones: Partial at SGD 3.63, final around SGD 3.68–3.88 (historical highs).

📌 Summary Bukit Sembawang (B61.SI) is showing sideways movement with strong demand around SGD 3.30–3.50 and consistent selling above SGD 3.63. Recent volume surges and V-shaped rebound indicate increased interest, but the range persists until a decisive breakout.
