SPDR DJIA ETF US DIA - Still in Uptrend

Long-term Trend = Uptrend

Inflation fear, Omincron fear, somehow, the long-term uptrend of the DOW was still not broken even though it is slowly moving sideway.  However, it does indicate that buyers are weak as they are unable to push the index higher.

SPDR DJIA ETF US - Crash or Not

Gap down signal the end of the current trend and the start of a new trend (up/down/sideways).  This gap down bar looks like a struggle between the bulls and bears as the upper and lower long tails are almost equal in strength.

Whether it is a real crash or not depends on next week price action movement.   From the chart, it look more like a buy on dips.

This South Africa COVID-19 variant Omicron maybe scary but the world now knows more about COVID that 2 years ago, so it depends on how much fear the Market Maker can create for retail investors to sell out, else there will be a rebound.  Market Maker like institution are always testing investors Greed and Fear, so be prepared, stick with companies that have real earnings.
