9 Feb - Parkway Life REIT stands to benefit from the upgrade of Mount Elizabeth Hospital into an integrated multi-service hub under Project Renaissance, UOB Kay Hian analyst Jonathan Koh says in a research note. The multi-service hub, to be completed over three years, will increase productivity and create an enlarged healthcare campus, the analyst notes. MEH's emergency department and inpatient and outpatient treatment centers will be expanded for better operational flow, and wards reconfigured to cater to growing demand from local and foreign patients, the analyst adds. UOB KH raises the REIT's target price to S$5.07 from S$4.84 with an unchanged buy rating. Units are 2.2% higher at S$3.66.
